Taipei, October 3, 2007 – Protech Systems, leading industrial computer manufacturer, announces today its participation in the Taipei Electronics Autumn Show: Taitronic 2007. Located at booth numbers D806/D808/D905/D907 in Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1; Protech will display its latest touch screen POS, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor-based industrial CPU boards, fanless embedded industrial computer systems, and industrial mobile computers.
POS Solutions – Leading the industry with advanced standards, Protech will be showing its POS PCs based on Pentium M and Celeron M processors, along with 15” and 12” touch screens. All models support the IEEE 802.11a/b/g specifications for wireless network communications, providing clients with brand new operational experience and sensation. In addition, in order to offer a convenient maintenance mechanism, the hard disk, RAM and card reader can be all exchanged externally, without having to disassemble the mechanism and case. Also, KIOSK is another focus of the show. Protech is launching its wall mounted multi-media KIOSK and desktop photo station, providing a complete self-serve application environment.
Handheld Industrial Computer Solutions – As application of handheld industrial computer devices increase, Protech will be launching two RISC-based motherboards and industrial-standard PDA during the show. The items provide a powerful system, fanless, and low power yet space-efficient design. Clients are able to achieve a perfect solution when designing the processing core for the motion control devices.
Embedded CPU Board Solutions - During the show, Protech will introduce its fastest, most efficient embedded CPU board products. These Intel Core 2 Duo and Quad-based boards, including the PICMG full size CPU card, PCI half size CPU card, and mini-ITX motherboard, as well as high efficient industrial CPU boards that possess many advantages, are most suitable in the fields of vertical application, such as ATM, DVR, medical equipment, and gaming machine.
Industrial Computer System Solutions – Combining the increasingly popular digital signage and car computer, Protech will be showing models of its fanless embedded computer products. With superior performance in processing and controlling high quality images, along with Intel Pentium M and Celeron M-based CPUs, these products provide system integrator with highly efficient systems when computing high definition movies or complicated programs. The mechanism design is also based on module concepts, so from expandable functions to follow-up maintenance, clients’ convenience is completely taken into consideration.
In addition, four of Protech’s products have been recognized this year by the Taiwan Excellence Award, among which the PS6505-MIT model was invited by the Taiwan Trade Association to be displayed at the award pavilion. Visiting guests are welcomed to stop by for viewing.
