The new PS-8851A POS Touch Screen Terminal combines sleek attractiveness and
a bright 15" LCD touch screen with a retail-hardened, high quality plastic
case. The PS-8851A point-of-sales system comes with the VIA Eden low power processor
and embedded chipset for hardware configuration stability, which is ideal for
restaurant, hospitality, concession, school cafeteria, convenience store and
specialty retail applications.
Designed with the needs of customer, a flexible selection of peripherals allows
PS-8851A to be uniquely configured for your retail environment. For example,
a flexible customer display can be mounted behind the 15” LCD or integrated
on the system base with solo display. Besides, the convenient rear door design
of the PS-8851A eliminates complex cable routing and allows for quick access
to multiple I/O ports for fast set-up and easy changing of peripherals. All
units include 4 powered serial ports, 4 USB ports, 1 parallel port, 2 PS/2 ports
and 1 RJ-45 LAN port.
The last but not least, the PS-8851A can also run though various of operating
systems, for example Windows 98, 2000, XP, WEPOS, programs, WinCE and Linux,
etc. that can support a wide range of POS software.
